Gloucester City Council this week gave resolution to grant planning permission for nine apartments and a change of use of a former school lodge building for a community use, at Matson Lane, Gloucester.
LRM managed the application on behalf of Gloucester City Homes. The scheme was particularly complex due to its location within Matson Park, the curtilage listing of the School Lodge building and ecological sensitivity of the site. After lengthy negotiations with the Council a scheme that includes 9 much needed affordable and open market 1 bedroom apartments in the locality has now been approved, and the former school lodge can be revitalised with a community use.
