LRM Planning is delighted to formally welcome Emily Elliott to the team as Senior Planner.

Emily joined the Exeter office in July 2022, having previously worked at Local Authorities in the South West of England and South Wales. Emily’s experience has included both Development Management and Strategic Planning roles.

In terms of Development Management, Emily has dealt with a range of application types from householder development and prior approvals through to major commercial developments, including negotiating heads of terms and working alongside an array of stakeholders, as well as post-decision matters such as discharge of conditions, minor amendments and resubmissions.

With regards to Strategic Planning, Emily has worked on the annual monitoring of development plans and assessing housing and employment land supplies, reviewed and revised local authority planning policy guidance documents, and provided thorough planning policy consultation responses to Development Management.
