LRM Planning is delighted to have assisted United Welsh Housing Association obtain planning permission for 10 affordable houses on the vacant site of the Former All Saints Church, on Pencerrig Street/High Street in Llanbradach, Caerphilly County Borough.
The proposal forms part of a wider scheme of development which will also see the delivery of a new doctors surgery for the community. In obtaining permission for our client, LRM Planning successfully balanced the client’s brief for the development, against the planning requirement to consider the amenity of neighbouring properties and preserve or enhance the sensitive heritage setting, given the site’s position within the Llanbradach Conservation Area.
Peter Seaborne was the project lead for LRM’s client United Welsh Housing Association, whilst architectural input was provided by Shaun Prichard and Kate McDonough from Hatcher Prichard Architects. Simon Mason from Shear Design, Andrew Crutchley from EDP and Paul Hudson from Acer Ecology make up the remainder of the team.
